Sylvia was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, and moved to the United States at the age of 16 to pursue the American Dream. She fell in love with broadcasting and has been working in the radio industry for over 2 decades serving the Hispanic community. 

In 2016, Sylvia gave birth to her son, Luca.  He was the biggest blessing in her life but, like many women, struggled with postpartum depression.  Postpartum depression is a serious mental illness that involves the brain and affects your behavior and physical health after giving birth. One in 9 new mothers has postpartum depression.

Sylvia’s pre-pregnancy weight went from 110 pounds to 200 pounds after her son was born.  She struggled with many emotions like depression, jealously and insecurities that impacted her on every level of her life.  She struggled to lose weight and experienced major hair loss.  Sylvia felt alone and hopeless.  She looked for natural products that could help her lose weight and feel overall healthy, but couldn’t find anything on the market that worked. 

That’s when Dieta911 was created.  Sylvia didn’t like the feeling of not being comfortable in her skin and made it her mission to help others who were feeling like her. Sylvia created a line of products to help the Hispanic community feel good about themselves and inspire them to live a healthy lifestyle.
